In addition to health concernes, smart meters bring questions about safety issues such as fire danger. The picture on the left is not comforting at all!
The costs of installing the new digital wireless meters is substantial, their accuracy is debatable, and there is much controversy as to whether or not the readings serve to decrease power use, or simply to increase power costs to consumers.

On top of that, there was a power surge when they installed them and it fried our hard drive and we’ve lost 6 months worth of pictures and data on our computer (which no longer works).
